Hi, I’m Chantelle!

Having been a photographer for 10 years now, I have been in many different studios, created many different portraits for my clients BUT I still remember the day I stepped in to a professional studio for the very first time. The light, the smell of the old building, my client’s excitement, MY excitement, and I truly feel that everyone should have the opportunity to experience that same feeling.

Chantelle is an Empowerment Portrait & Wedding Photographer who has a specialty in photographing women over the age of 40. She started photographing with purpose in 2011 and started her business, Chantelle Dione Photography, in 2013. Over the course of her career she has received awards and accreditation through the globally recognized Portrait Masters as well as created marketing campaigns for such organizations as The Wonderful Wedding Show

Hi, I’m Jamie!

Most likely you’ve seen me either at a wedding trade show, in the behind the scenes videos of our studio renovations, or stepping in as a 2nd shooter for Chantelle. Either way I’ve always been involved in the business of photography one way or another since the inception of Chantelle Dione Photography in 2013.

By day Jamie is a Senior Sales Executive for Water Utility with Grundfos Canada, the largest manufacturer of pumps in the world. By night (and weekends) he is behind the scenes helping with operations of Chantelle’s business as well as CDP Studios including being an assistant photographer.

We’ve been doing life together since 2005!

We met each other online during a time when online dating was just developing. In 2008 we got married and in 2018 we renewed our vows on the beach just outside of Cancun, Mexico. We have been fortunate to travel to places like Jamaica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Mexico, and even Hong Kong!

In 2011 we got our first fur child, Kodi, and in 2012 we got our second, Trek. Sadly we said goodbye to Kodi at the end of 2022 but he and Trek were/are big parts of our journey both personally and professionally. They became staples in our home studio, greeting clients and supervising all of the photoshoots.
